Y’all make my head hurt. I swear you all do. Ever since the Coronavirus started making its way to the United States people have been slightly losing their minds with worry. Hand sanitizer has been flying off the shelves and people have been wearing all types of masks and protective gear. Some places are even on lockdown. But one of the craziest things to happen since the outbreak is people making their own hand sanitizer from Tito’s Vodka.
I don’t even know where to begin. This is just next-level dumb. First of all, WASH YOUR HANDS PEOPLE. It’s alarming how many of us in the US are just now realizing this is important. Have we really not been washing our hands the entire time? Secondly, I’m not sure who needs to hear this but hand sanitizer is not a replacement for washing your hands. I repeat, using hand sanitizer does NOT replace the washing of your hands. And lastly, why Tito’s Vodka specifically? Did someone google ‘the best liquor to make sanitizer out of’ and Tito’s came up?
Thankfully Tito’s Vodka is not with the foolishness. Tweets have been issued from their main account, and the CDC, urging people to not use the recipe of their product mixed with aloe Vera to help protect from the Coronavirus. Y’all we have GOT to do better. Like why isn’t simple soap and water the answer? We have to make sanitizer out of liquor? Whew I’m going to pray for y’all because what else can I do? I’m washing my hands of y’all stupidity. Ha, get it? Ok, I know but anyways remember if you see the Tito’s Vodka sanitizer recipe DO NOT TRY IT. It will do nothing but make your hands smell like the local tavern.
