Everyone should be on high alert as the CDC just issued a recall on pre-cut melon from the company Catio Foods because of salmonella. If you’re a fan of the pre-cut assorted melons, honeydew, cantaloupe, or watermelon that come in those plastic containers then you need to be on the lookout. A lot of stores have been affected.

  • Sprouts
  • Trader Joe’s
  • Walgreens
  • Walmart
  • Whole Foods

And here are the affected states:

  • Georgia
  • Illinois
  • Indiana
  • Kentucky
  • Michigan
  • Missouri
  • North Carolina
  • Ohio

Please be careful!! Until further notice I would not buy any of Catio Foods’ pre-cut fruit, and if you have already then you should know what to do…throw it out! I’ll be sure to keep you updated.
