Let’s just get right to the recipe!
1 pound of chicken breasts (boneless and skinless) cut into small cubes
1 cup of chopped sweet peppers
1/2 cup of sliced onions
2 cloves of garlic, minced
1/2 teaspoon of minced ginger
1/2 cup of soy sauce
1 tablespoons of cornstarch
1 teaspoon of sesame oil
1 tablespoon of rice wine vinegar
2 tablespoons of brown sugar
1 teaspoon of red pepper flakes
2 tablespoons of vegetable oil
sesame seeds, to garnish
1. Saute the chicken, peppers, and onions in the vegetable oil until the chicken has been cooked through.
2. Meanwhile, combine the sesame oil, soy sauce, cornstarch, sesame oil, rice wine vinegar, brown sugar, and red pepper flakes in a bowl.
3. Add the garlic and ginger to the pan and cook for about 45 seconds.
4. Add the sauce to the pan and stir so nothing sticks. The sauce should thicken quickly. Turn off the heat, serve with white rice, and garnish with the sesame seeds.
I’ll have to try this recipe again. The 1 cup soy sauce must be a typo… It made it way too salty. Still love me some Darius though!!
I’m going to try this….but it says 1/2 cup of soy sauce…..not 1 cup
