Some Ritz Products Are Being Recalled for Possible Salmonella Contamination

A couple of days ago, Mondelez Global released a statement saying that they’re doing a voluntary recall of some of their Ritz crackers products for possible salmonella contamination. They’re recalling products from the U.S., Puerto Rico, and the U.S. Virgin Islands.

So far there haven’t been any reported cases of salmonella but I like that they’re being safe rather than sorry. According to Delis, the Ritz Bits and Ritz crackers with cheese are the affected items. Of course, if you have any of the items throw them away immediately. There’s a list of all the recalled items on the Mondelez Global website.
