One of the reasons I love my social media fam so much is because I can ask for advice and they come through. I was chillin one day and wanted to play this game where I’m like “hey, give me two ingredients and I’ll make a recipe.” Well, they came through with peanut butter and chicken. I’m like – cool – I can dig it. I looooooove a sticky wang combo of any type – so this was right up my gallery (pun intended)!
PB & J Sticky Wings
2 pound of chicken wings, washed and patted dry
1 plastic food storage bag
For the marinade:
1 tablespoon of peanut butter
2 tablespoons of grape jelly
1 pinch of red pepper flakes
1 pinch of cayenne pepper
2 tablespoons of brown sugar
1 tablespoon of olive oil
1 teaspoon of salt
1 teaspoon of pepper
1/2 teaspoon of granulated garlic powder
2 teaspoons of apple cider vinegar
1. Combine all of the ingredients above to make the marinade. Whisk until smooth and pour into a food storage bag. Add the chicken wings and let marinate in the refrigerator for as close to 24 hours as possible.
2. When you’re ready to cook, just line a cookie sheet with parchment paper and line each of the wings in a single row. Ensure there’s enough space between the wings, so be sure not to crowd them.
3. Preheat the oven to 375 and roast the wings until they’re golden brown and have an internal temperature of 160 degrees. Garnish with chopped peanuts and serve.
This was my suggestion. I definitely am trying this!! Thank you, Noreen

was it good?
I LOVE his recipes, but admit I was skeptical, so I made a small batch. They were good! My family liked them as well. If you wanted to adjust the recipe to make it sweeter or spicier, you’d only need a little extra jelly or seasoning, and it wouldn’t ruin the overall flavor. What’s weird is that although you don’t taste straight peanuts/peanutbutter, it does add to the flavor of the wing. Darius knows his art & is very creative. I won’t doubt him again, lol.
