While we’ve still got some Summer left, I love taking fresh herbs and using them to get maximum flavor. Grilling beef on skewers with an awesome marinade makes me a happy guy. You could use this recipe with a gas grill, like I did in the video. But, if you’ve got a traditional charcoal grill, that’ll work just as well!
-2 rib eye steaks, boneless, cut into 1-inch pieces
-Fresh herbs, chopped (basil, dill, thyme, rosemary, and chives)
-1 1/2 tablespoons of olive oil
-1 tablespoon of fresh garlic, minced
-1 teaspoon of black pepper
-1/2 teaspoon of ground fennel
-1/2 teaspoon of red pepper flakes
-1 teaspoon of sea salt
-2 tablespoons of brown sugar substitute
Take skewers that have been soaked in water and thread on the beef. Once the grill is preheated, grill to desired temperature. Let rest for 5 minutes and then enjoy.
