Need a quick little one-two for brunch? Look NO further!

1 cup of half and half

1 tablespoon of cornstarch

1 tablespoon of vanilla extract

1/2 teaspoon of ground cinnamon

1/2 teaspoon of freshly grated nutmeg

1 pinch of Kosher salt

2 tablespoons of cognac

1 whole loaf of bread

1 stick of melted butter

Cut the bread in to large cubes and set aside. In a large bowl, combine the half and half, cornstarch, vanilla, cinnamon, nutmeg, salt, and cognac. Mix well to combine. Soak each of the large bread cubes in the custard mixture. when you’re ready, add a bit of butter to the bottom of a skillet and cook the cubes on each side until golden brown.

For the bourbon mascarpone:

1/2 cup of mascarpone cheese

1/2 cup of powdered sugar

1 tablespoon of bourbon

1/2 tablespoon of vanilla extract

1/2 cup of heavy cream

Add all the ingredients to a bowl and whip, using a mixer, until well combined.
