Either Chick-fil-A is petty or they just don’t care for the move they just made. The Filet-O-Fish sandwich has been a McDonald’s staple for years now but Chick-fil-A clearly wants the smoke. Chick-fil-A is bringing their fish sandwich back for a limited time and now we have to ask, who does it better? Chick-fil-A or McDonald’s?
First, we have to take into account that Chick-fil-A’s fish filet is exclusive. It’s not available all the time which off rip makes you want it more. We all crave the thing that we can’t have, right? So what better way to make people excited for something than to not have it there at the ready? McDonald’s does this with the McRib so they should already know what type of time Chick-fil-A is on.

But, can something so fleeting compete with the tried and true Filet-o-Fish? People love the Filet-O-Fish and probably remember that fish sandwich more than the one they can only get for a few weeks a year if that often. Plus, people are bound to go with the more convenient option too.

It looks like it’s going to have to come down to taste. Which fast-food fish filet sandwich will taste the best? Chick-fil-A is already associated with fresh food while McDonald’s simply isn’t, so we could immediately think our favorite closed on Sunday’s spot can take this one but we can’t just assume. An actual taste test would have to be done to prove it. Will you guys be trying out Chick-fil-A’s fish sandwich? If you want to see who takes the fish filet crown, you have until April 11th to do so!
