Ask me my fave ingredient. It’s totally bacon. Annnnnnd, to put it into a pasta sauce is kinda genius. I’m not sure how well turkey bacon or beef bacon would go. But, if you’re a bacon stan like me, then this is for you!

10 strips of bacon

6 cloves of garlic

1/2 an onion, cut into small pieces

2 pints of cherry tomatoes

1/2 cup of white wine

1 tablespoon of lemon juice

1 teaspoon of chicken bouillon

1/2 tablespoon of dried oregano

1/2 tablespoon of dried basil

1/2 cup of chopped basil

Cooked pasta

Grated parmesan cheese

To start, add the bacon, garlic, and onion to a food processor. Blend until the bacon is in small pieces. Then, add to a pan and cook until the bacon has just about cooked through. Add in the tomatoes and cook for about 8 minutes, or until the tomatoes start the burst.

Add in the white wine and lemon juice and let cook until the liquid has reduced by about half. Then, season with dried oregano, dried basil, and chicken bouillon. Cook for about 3 minutes more. Then, toss in the cooked pasta, chopped basil, and parmesan cheese. Toss together and enjoy immediately.

*You can always garnish with sliced lemons.
