Say it ain’t so! Salmonella cases are popping up in 35 states because of, get this, turkeys! Can we not just 13 days before Thanksgiving? The CDC, Center for Disease Control, has issued a warning to please thaw out your turkeys in the refrigerator and NOT on the counter. Supposedly that is what is causing most of these outbreaks.

Now there’s no particular brand of turkey to avoid. In fact, you don’t actually have to avoid turkeys. Just make sure you’re following the proper procedures in the kitchen! You bought that outfit to look cute in the living room not be at home sick!
