Because you need a VERY simple recipe for Tequila Lime Butter Shrimp that’s also keto. No, seriously. It’s probably one of my faves. And listen – at your next party, serve these!!!
1 pound of jumbo shrimp
½ tablespoon of minced garlic
1 tablespoon of olive oil
½ tablespoon of salt
½ teaspoon of black pepper
For the sauce,
3 tablespoons of butter
3 tablespoons of tequila
The juice and zest of 1 lime
1 tablespoon of chopped cilantro
Preheat oven to 400 degrees.
In a large bowl, combine the shrimp along with the garlic, olive oil, salt, and pepper. Arrange the shrimp on a sheet tray lined with parchment paper and roast in the oven until cooked through.
Meanwhile, to make the sauce combine all of the ingredients in a saucepan. Bring to a boil and then cook for 5 minutes on high heat.
Serve the sauce along with the shrimp for dipping.
