If you’re not hip to the #TwoIngredientGame, you should be. It’s a fun game we play on social media where I say give me two ingredients, and I’ll whip up a recipe – live. Only, we do it on Periscope and Facebook Live at the same time. It’s fun stuff! I took two great ingredients and whipped them into an easy weeknight dinner that’s super simple to do.

Here’s the video replay:

Here’s the recipe!

Creamed Spinach & Salmon Alfredo

-3/4 box of thin linguini, cooked and drained

-1/2 cup of diced onion

-4 garlic cloves minced

-2 teaspoons of olive oil

-1/2 cup of good white wine

-2 cups of chipped frozen spinach, drained

-2 cups of heavy cream

-1/2 cup of grated Parmesan cheese

-pinch of red pepper flakes

-1/2 teaspoon of dried Italian herbs

-1/2 chicken bouillon cube

-salt and pepper to taste

-2 cups of cooked salmon fillet

1. Saute the onion and garlic in olive oil until translucent.

2. Then add the chicken bouillon, dried herbs, and red pepper flakes to the pan. Cook for 30 seconds and then add in the white wine. Let the wine reduce by about half.

3. Then add in the heavy cream and season with salt and pepper. Let the cream cook down for about 10 minutes and it will thicken. Then, add in the spinach and parmesan cheese and cook until the spinach is warmed through.

4. Toss with pasta and cooked salmon. Enjoy while it’s still warm.IMG_8827

  1. I have tried a few of your receipes. I love to cook, but you have definitely shown me a different side to flavor!! I am trying this tonight and I know it’s going to be amazing

  2. I prepared this receipe tonight and it was delicious. Very easy to prepare. I will definitely do this one again. Can’t wait to try some of the other receipts.

  3. This was my first “Darius Cooks” recipe to try, which I did this last night and it was D-E-L-I-C-O-U-S!!! A definite two thumbs up winner at my house, and one that my family wants me to make again! 🙂 Since I needed a larger serving than the recipe makes, I had to use more of everything. In addition, I used low sodium seasoning salt & a little “mild” Cajun seasoning in place of white salt. Also used the same to season my salmon prior to baking (covered approx 6-8 mins on 350). I’m really looking forward to trying other Darius recipes. Perfect Fried chicken & 6 Cheese mac n cheese will be on the menu for Sunday

  4. I just made this dish but I used what was in my kitchen already. I used Mozzarella cheese instead of Parmesan and I used Kale instead of spinach. I have to say that it is now a favorite in my household. Each of my kids had two helpings.

  5. Omg! I just cooked this for dinner and my family loves it! The only thing I did different was cook it with italian fettuccine pasta since my local grocery store was all out of linguine. But it still turned out fantastic! Thanks for sharing this recipe! Its my new family favorite!

  6. I absolutely abhor cooking. I did because I had 3 little ones so I had to cook. Now I have an empty nest and have found DARIUS!!!!….I have tried a couple of your recipes and loved them. Now I’m see how easy some things can be. And I’m cooking to enjoy, not to live…lol…thank you sir, you have changed my whole outlook as far as the kitchen. Now I can’t wait until my children come home to show them what I’ve learned.

  7. I tried this recipe today and all I can say is that my family loved it. Instead of using salmon I used shrimp and it was soooooo delicious. I can’t wait to try more of your recipes.

  8. Greetings from Pápa, Hungary! I made this dish and it was absolutely perfect! Didn’t need any additional seasoning…just perfect as is! This was the reason that I purchased the cookbook! Can’t wait until it arrives!

  9. This was the first recipe that I tried of yours and it was delicious…my boyfriend loved it as well. He even invited a few of his friends over to try it..they enjoyed it
