Just days after the horrific accident that took the lives of basketball legend Kobe Bryant, his daughter Gianna (Gigi), two of her teammates, and five others the world is still mourning. An event this sudden and tragic isn’t something one takes likely. It hurts and will hurt for some time. People all over the world are paying homage to Kobe and Gigi with murals, music, social media posts, and more. But this one California coffee shop is doing something a little special. Immigrant Son Caffé has been serving lattes with custom pictures of Kobe and Gigi.
This is such a beautiful and unique way to pay your respects. The pictures look so crystal clear too. Immigrant Son Caffé uses their Ripple Maker machine to print the images on to the coffee. Customers send what they would like through an app and the machine does the rest.
The day of the accident is when their shop started to flood with people making Kobe inspired requests. Immigrant Son Caffé is known for picture-perfect coffees so when people heard the news they rushed over. You can see from the picture above why it’s their specialty.
I want one so badly, but I honestly wouldn’t even want to drink it. I wish there was a way to keep the coffee forever but I guess a picture would have to do. If you’re in California you should stop by and try it out! For those of us who aren’t, would you get one if you could?
