Sautéed Green Beans with Bacon

5 slices of bacon, cut into pieces

1/2 a red onion, thinly sliced

4 cloves of garlic, sliced

1 tablespoon of olive oil

1 pound of green beans

1 teaspoon chicken bouillon

1 teaspoon of garlic powder

1 cup of water

Start by heating a skillet on the stove. Then, over medium heat add in the bacon, red onion, and garlic. Allow the mixture to cook together for about 3 minutes. Then, add in the olive oil and green beans. Season with chicken bouillon, garlic powder, and add the water. Cover with a lid and let cook for 10 minutes on medium heat. 

For the pork chops

4 pork chops

1 teaspoon of all purpose seasoning

1 teaspoon of Cajun seasoning

1 tablespoon of olive oil

1 tablespoon of butter

Preheat the oven to 400 degrees. Also, heat a cast iron skillet. Meanwhile, season the pork chops with all purpose seasoning and Cajun seasoning. Then, add the olive oil and butter to the hot skillet. When the butter has melted, add the pork chops. Cook on one side for about 4 minutes until golden brown and seared. Flip the pork chops and then put them in the oven to cook through. This should take about  minutes. Remove the pork chops from the oven, baste them with the sauce, and let them rest for 5 minutes before cutting into them.
