Amazon is slowly but surely taking over the world. It’s really between them and Disney. Amazon has been making crazy moves in the past few years, including their acquisition of Whole Foods. Now they’re set to open their second checkout-free grocery store in New York!
I know you probably have questions like, “checkout-free? Do people work there? Robots?” Fortunately there are no robots and people do work there. They’re actually looking for managers right now. Just like their first location, which opened in January in Seattle, all you have to do is scan your Amazon Go app and it will have your credit card on file.
The store will sell breakfast, lunch, snacks, and dinner options that are made by Amazon’s chefs. And of course they’ll sell groceries too. Chicago when they open the store there you know I’m coming home to check it out!
