Sometimes, you just need something quick and easy. You literally toss everything into a bowl and dump it into a cast iron skillet and toss it into the oven. Yup, that simple. But, it’s sooooooo good! Like, seriously, this should even be a recipe. But…it is – lol.

 

1 pound of large shrimp, peeled and deveined

3/4 stick of butter

3 garlic cloves, sliced

1/2 teaspoon of salt

1/2 teaspoon of granulated garlic

the zest of 1 lemon

a pinch of red pepper flakes

1 lemon, cut into slices

*cilantro, to garnish

1..In a skillet or sauce pot, melt the butter and saute the garlic for 3-4 minutes over high heat. Then, allow the butter to cool slightly.

2. In a large bowl, toss together the shrimp, salt, granulated garlic, lemon zest, red pepper flakes, and lemon slices. Pour the butter all over the mixture and coat evenly.

3. Arrange in a skillet and cook in a 400 degree oven for 7-8 minutes, or until the shrimp have cooked through. Enjoy warm.
