3 to 4 ears of fresh corn, cut the kernels off
1/2 fennel bulb, diced
4-5 slices of prosciutto, diced
4 cloves of garlic, sliced
2 teaspoons of grape seed oil
3/4 pound of angel hair pasta, cooked & drained
1/2 teaspoon of cracked pepper
1 pinch of salt
1/2 cup of white wine
1 tablespoon of chicken bouillon
1 1/2 cup of heavy cream
1 teaspoon of dried Italian herbs
Cajun butter shrimp (just mix cleaned shrimp with salt and Cajun seasoning and saute in butter until done)
Fresh basil, chopped
1.. Saute the fennel, corn, garlic, and prosciutto in grape seed oil until fragrant.
2. After about 5-6 minutes, add in the white wine, chicken bouillon, and heavy cream. Season with a pinch of salt and black pepper. Cook for another 4-5 minutes until the sauce thickens slightly.
3. Toss in pasta and dried Italian herbs. Be sure to combine well. Serve by garnishing with fresh chopped basil and shrimp.
