I tell ya, that #TwoIngredientGame is like so much fun. Someone said to do a  recipe using Doritos and Steak. Well, I did. Hope you enjoy.

The key is making the roasted garlic oil:

-10 garlic cloves

-1 cup of Canola oil

1. Pour the oil and garlic cloves into an oven safe dish. Bake at 300 degrees for 45 minutes until. Let the oil cool and use it as you would for sautéing and marinating.

Roasted Garlic & Brown Sugar Rib Eye

-1 bone-in rib eye steak

-1 teaspoon of salt

-1/2 teaspoon of pepper

-1 tablespoon of brown sugar

-1 pinch of red pepper flakes

-1 pinch of dried Italian herbs

-1 1/2 tablespoons of roasted garlic oil

1. Marinate the steak with the salt, pepper, brown sugar, pepper flakes, Italian herbs, and roasted garlic oil.

2. Get a grill pan super hot, sear the steak on both sides. If necessary, put the steak in the oven to continue cooking through to your desired temperature.

Doritos-Crusted Onion Rings

-1 large onion, cut into rings

-1 cup of crushed Doritos crumbs

-1/2 cup of flour

-1/4 cup of cornstarch

-1/2 cup of buttermilk

-oil for frying

-1 teaspoon of salt

-1/2 teaspoon of pepper

-1/4 teaspoon of garlic powder

1. Preheat the oil to 375 degrees.

2. In a large bowl, season the onion rings with salt, pepper, and garlic powder.

3. Then, pour over the buttermilk and mix well.

4. In a bowl, mix the Doritos, flour, and cornstarch together and dredge each of the onion ring pieces.

5. Fry them until they’re golden brown and crispy.

  2. This does look heavenly and can’t wait to try. I am new as of today and cannot figure out how to save, pin or whatever the recipe. Is there a trick I missed. Thank you for sharing. My Granny always soaked her chicken in buttermilk too.
